DRAWINGS AND COLLAGES
Drawing is central to my way of looking at landscape. My car has become a studio for looking. Traveling through the landscape, I draw from the front seat with a pencil and an assortment of papers, carefully observing shifting light, weather, and landforms. These drawings gather fragments of observation and memory. The works are less about describing a particular place than about reconstructing the experience of looking—what is remembered, what shifts, and what gets left out.
